At Topia, I led a small, nimble design team focused on simplifying global mobility for large enterprises. I worked hands-on across web and mobile platforms, balancing strategy with execution to solve complex problems like international compliance, compensation, and relocation workflows.
Role and responsibilities
I led end-to-end product design on enterprise applications used to manage remote work, mobility policies, and employee experiences. Beyond day-to-day design work, I shaped our design vision, coached team members, and pushed for higher design standards and stronger alignment with product strategy.
During this time, I helped grow Topia from $0 to nearly $10M in ARR, with our design playing a key role in securing multiple six-figure enterprise deals.
Key achievements
Managing product designers, a UX writer, and a front-end developer for our in-house design system, there were a number of projects I played a significant role in.
Launched a remote work compliance tool
Designed and shipped two portals — one for employees to explore remote work options, another for HR to monitor and act on legal risk — helping close $100k+ ARR deals from prototypes alone.
Redesigned core experiences from the ground up
Unified a fragmented product suite into a streamlined system across mobile and web. Simplified complex workflows like compensation planning, side-by-side simulations, and policy configuration.
Improved team operations
Introduced OKRs for the design team, improved our Notion & JIRA roadmaps, and rethought design specs to better align with engineering cycles.

Voice and tone style guide
Advocated for and helped hire a UX Writer, supporting the creation of a style guide that improved content consistency and accessibility across the product.

Helped build the in-house design system
Collaborated with our front-end lead to establish a React-based design system. I maintained visual consistency in Figma and ensured efficient handoff and reusability across teams.

Expanded into marketing and brand design
In my final year, I took on more external-facing design work — from trade show booths and LinkedIn ads to business cards and whitepapers — ensuring our brand remained consistent and high-quality across all touchpoints.
